Set at the top of a valley with far-reaching views across the beautiful Devon countryside, this cottage is one of nine attractive cottages with shared facilities. Only 2 miles away is Watermouth Family Theme Park and Castle which is set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Across from here is Watermouth Bay activities centre, where you can have a go at coasteering or paddleboarding. The seaside village of Combe Martin is under 3 miles away and has a sheltered cove that is a great spot for rock pooling.
Stepping inside the characterful cottage you will find the two bedrooms on the ground floor. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a WC. Upstairs, relax on the comfortable sofas in the open-plan lounge/diner and watch one of your favourite movies on the TV which also has a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make the family a great breakfast or evening meal, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and microwave.
Heading outside, is a cute courtyard with your own picnic table and charcoal BBQ or you can unwind at the end of the day on the spacious lawn area with outdoor seating which is shared with the other properties in the complex. Or you could head for the shared indoor heated swimming pool with sunken hot tub. Children can also play in an enclosed outdoor play area with swing basket, trampoline, baby swing and picnic benches, and there’s an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool table and table football. There are also 18 acres of gardens and paddocks to explore, making the site a real country retreat ideal for families, friends or couples alike. Guests are welcome to meet the resident donkeys and pony. Sheep and cows also graze the surrounding meadows of the farm.
