Tranquil, two-bedroom, detached barn conversion set within acres of private land far from the madding crowd, with plenty of walks, wildlife and fishing available straight from your door.

The property is situated within 70 acres of private land consisting of woodland, farmland and fields, and the owners live on the farm behind the cottage. There is private trout and seatrout fishing available on site, or if you prefer getting out into nature, you can explore the wood and take walks across the land straight from the front door where you may find alpacas and sheep grazing. Nestled deep in the countryside, this property is an ideal, tranquil retreat for those wishing to get away from it all. Three well behaved dogs are allowed, and whenever possible a field is kept free so the dogs can run around. Nearby towns such as Narberth and Whitland can be reached in 8 and 5.5 miles respectively. Narberth is a popular market town with plenty of independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants to keep you busy. The Preseli hills are 10 miles to the North if you want to go for a ramble, taking in the views over Pembrokeshire.

As you enter the property you are welcomed into the open-plan living area. The lounge has two comfortable sofas nestled around the television and electric, wood burner-effect fire. Put your feet up at the end of a long's day hike and enjoy the warmth of the fire and your favourite book. The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and is a great space for an evening meal with your family or friends, or a hearty breakfast together before you start the day. The galley-style kitchen has been equipped with an electric range oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is an additional sunroom off the lounge area with seating and views out over the land where you can watch the wildlife and birds and enjoy the peace of the countryside. The first of two bedrooms can be found on the ground floor with a king-size bed, wardrobe and vanity table. Completing the ground floor is the shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the open dog leg staircase, on the first floor is the loft bedroom with king-size bed.

Externally, the property benefits from an enclosed courtyard garden at the front of the house with outdoor seating.

Please note -  Fronhaul Cottage is a working farm with livestock, there are sheep, alpaca, ponies, aswell as cats and dogs, therefore dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when outside.  The owners live on the farm behind the cottage.  The property is not suitable for children under 8 due to open stairs, ponds and farm machinery.  The property is accessed by approximately 1 mile of private, uneven, track through woodland, not suitable for vehicles with limited ground clearance.

Lovely cottage but an awful lot of cobwebs. Beds VERY comfortable and a gorgeous views. Big size kitchen with plenty of equipment which was great. It was also great that there was an area outside the front of the cottage that was fenced off so our dog could go our but not need her lead.

Lovely cottage, but being in the country you do need to be ok with spiders and cobwebs, as there were lots. That was the only downside. Otherwise great location, as only 40mins from lots of great places.

The website states Narberth location, but it's actually a lot further out from Narberth. But we still enjoyed our visit there.

Lovely peaceful location, ideal for watching the birds and wildlife. Hosts very warm and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Access lane needs to be approached with caution!!

Lovely old cottage in a beautiful, wooded location. Very comfortable & perfectly equipped for our needs. Charming owners who were most accommodating. Easy access for the best Pembrokeshire sites. Would recommend and visit again.
