Highly recommended cottage for a lovely, peaceful stay. It was clean, well stock with kitchen equipment and had lovely touches, like a welcome bottle of wine, shortbread biscuits etc. Within easy reach is Newtonmore which provides all the essential needs and you can access Glen Road in Newtonmore for a wonderful drive through the beautiful countrysRead moreide. Also from the cottage, drive left and follow the lane down to the Spey Dam, a beautiful spot. Hide

We had a wonderfully peaceful stay at the cottage. Beautiful location, and the cottage was cosy and had everything you could need to make you comfortable. We highly recommend a visit to the Laggan Bothy Cafe, great food, good coffee and even better service. 2 mins by car or a 15 minute walk. Loved seeing the Highland coos in field next door too.

Beautiful cottage in an excellent location. The view all around is really outstanding and the place is perfectly quiet. The cottage if fully equipped (electric dryer, variety of pans in the kitchen, spices for cooking ...) and we have received a welcome pack with some food and a bottle of wine. We recommend Dorran Cottage!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in Scotlands highlands and Dorran cottage offered us comfort, the beauty of the land and mountains surrounding the cottage, adorable little lambs to laugh over at their antics and just gave both of us the peace we had been looking forward to.
