What a wonderful holiday. The location was incredible, quiet and beautiful. The lodge is great and has everything you need, and was perfect for my two dogs, especially the enclosed garden and deck. The owners were very friendly and helpful. With Hay on Wye just down the road, and surrounded by the Black Mountains, we could not have been happier. ThRead moreank you so much..Jules Hide

Beautiful lodge with amazing views. The owner was very helpful when our arrival was delayed until after dark. The lodge suited us well, I took my elderly in-laws for a short break, and the single level building was brilliant.

Probably the best view we have ever had on a holiday. Comfortable lodge with plenty of kitchen equipment. Lovely welcome basket with plenty of biscuits & tasty welshcakes! Views from the veranda were spectacular. A great base for exploring, neat enclosed area for the dog as well as a lovely mown pathway to the road. Hide

Wye View Lodge is in a perfect location. Spotlessly clean and nice towels plus heated towel rail was nice touch. Probably the best equipped holiday let we have stayed in and nice basket of goodies on arrival. Fabulous views on veranda and very quiet. The owners have kept a couple of fields wild and mowed a pathway through to enjoy. We did!

Drover's lodge is perfectly located for walking and fishing, and only 3-4 miles from Hay on Wye' s wonderful book shops and independent shops. The lodge is warm, comfy with everything you need - but the best bit is the spectacular view, and night skies. I could (and did!) spend hours on the veranda just gazing. So peaceful. The hosts Karen and,Jim Read moreare there if you need them, friendly and helpful. The Three Tuns pub in Wye does a great italian menu, but there is also plenty of local food around. Hide
