This charming cottage is situated on the west coast of Arran less than a mile from beautiful Machrie Bay with its long, sandy beach, ancient standing stones, tearoom and golf course. With plenty of walking/cycling trails on your doorstep, you can explore the area on foot or by bike, with lots of other activities on offer too. There is plenty to see and do on the island whether it’s climbing its highest peak, Goatfell, sampling the wide range of local produce, visiting historic buildings or photographing the wonderful wildlife. After a busy day exploring, you’ll enjoy returning to this comfortable property and relaxing in front of the open fire or watching the sunset over the Mull of Kintyre.
The lounge is spacious, yet cosy, with grey and blue tones creating a light and airy space. Contemporary design blends effortlessly traditional furniture to create character and give a nod to the cottage’s heritage. There is a dining area at the end of the lounge, which has plenty of seating for everyone. Moving into the kitchen, you will see it’s compact, clean and modern with everything you’ll need. From here, you can access the garden. There are three gorgeous bedrooms: a king-size, a zip-linked super king-size which can be made up as a twin on request and a single. All the bedrooms offer plenty of space and comfort. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary shower room.
Outside, there is plenty of space to stretch your legs, but please remember its close proximity to a working farm. There is also garden furniture for a spot of al fresco dining. You may even want to enjoy a spot of star gazing once the sun has set.
