We had a lovely stay in Cae Haidd. The property had everything you needed for a comfortable week's stay, with lots of little extras. It was incredibly peaceful, with just the sheep to see from our property, but only ten minutes drive to Wrexham for any amenities. There is so much to see and do nearby, we enjoyed visits to National Trust property ErRead moreddig, Chester zoo, the Fforest Coaster at Zipworld and the British Ironworks. Hide

Lovely rural retreat, excellent for families with lots of attractions near by such as Chester Zoo. Hosts were very accommodating and our children loved feeding the pigs and chickens. The cottage is finished to a high standard with lovely towels and bedding.

The cottage was very clean and had everything anyone would need for a stay. Eggs, bread and milk, sugar, tea and coffee all awaited you- especially welcome after a long car journey in the heat. There were also towels, blankets, toy and treats for the dogs. Steps from the cottage into the lawned garden were quite steep and may prove a little difficulRead moret for those with mobility issues but delightful area to sit and have a drink of a warm day whilst watching the lambs play. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Generous off road parking. WiFi not the best (or, really good if you want off grid), so make sure you have a good mobile contract if you need it. Hosts are very thoughtful and could not be more helpful.
