On entering the property, you'll arrive into a bright hallway with a spacious cupboard for coats and shoes. The comfortable lounge features relaxing sofas, a wood burner effect electric fire, and a Smart TV—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The cottage offers three bedrooms: a master double with high ceilings and en-suite shower room with WC, a twin room, and a twin zip-and-link that can be made into a super-king-size on request, making it ideal for up to six people to stay comfortably. The family bathroom includes a bath, separate shower, and WC. Fantastic cottage. Our teenagers loved the games room and we spent a lot of time in there. The owners were lovely. The cottage is in a great location for exploring. Highly recommended.

There was no information or welcome pack. On day two the games room was double booked. We should have been informed about this at the booking stage. We also discovered that our fridge freezer was not in the cottage but in the games room. On arrival the cleaning had not been completed. Basic concerns about guests were not taken seriously. These happRead moreenings detracted from our stay. When we met with the owners they were apologetic and did empty the bins but no recompense was offered. Hide

Lovely cottage. Quiet location but close to lots of places. Cornhill with a beautiful shop only 1 mile. Coldstream is 4 miles. Kelso 10 miles and Berwick 14 miles. There are lots of lovely walks from the cottage.

Lovely stay, great location for visiting Northumberland and beyond. The owners and staff were very friendly especially Maggie who looks after the horses on the farm. Cottage was clean and had everything needed for a lovely stay.

Greeted by farm dogs barking and snarling, not on leads and not friendly. We had 2 nervous dogs. No direct access to garden from cottage. No sensor lights for letting dogs out at night. cold at night and no blankets. double bed mattress needs to be renewed. Shower in en-suite only a trickle of water. A lovely comfortable cottage in a wonderful setting. Very clean and well equipped. We made the most of our visit despite the heavy rain. Visited Flodden field, The Oxford Farm shop for coffee and delicious scones and to stock up on their fabulous jams and chutneys, and The Chain bridge Honey Farm. We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. We were made very welcome on our arrival and had everything we needed throughout our stay. We loved the games room, especially the snooker table! The location of the cottage is ideal for exploring Northumberland and we particularly enjoyed days out on Holy Island and at Seahouses, where we went on a boat Read moretrip to the Farne Islands to see seals and seabirds. Excellent cottage warm and very comfortable as a base. Lots of places to visit within 40 minute drive. Handy separate barn with snooker and table football to keep the kids entertained when weather not so good. Quiet roads and walks accessible from the cottage. Excellent restaurant in Kelso called scots. Good WiFi signal.

Ideal cottage if you have a teenager as the games room kept them quiet although we had to buy our own darts for dartboard. Located close to Coldstream. Lots of board games to keep you quiet.
