We stayed for three weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Wagtails. The cottage is generously furnished and the kitchen is very thoughtfully equipped. The beds are of excellent quality and comfort, so often not the case in holiday accommodation. Thank you to Robert and Naomi for being so helpful and welcoming.

We were meet by the hosts upon arrival who live in the main farmhouse who are helpful and friendly. The cottage was spotlessly clean with much attention to detail given to ensure that visitors are adequately comfortable during their stay. Although we made much use of the local pubs and restaurants (we were on holiday after all) the kitchen is well Read moreequipped for those that wish to self cater. The property is ideally located for visiting all the local attractions and towns within the area. Hide

We have just returned from a fabulous 2nd stay at Wagtails Barn with our 7 and 2 year old! It was the perfect base for us to explore the area. Very comfortable & extremely well equipped with plenty of space for the 4 of us. The location is great for visiting Bristol, Cheddar, Longleat, South Wales, Bath but despite being close to these locations, iRead moret feels peaceful and secluded. It was lovely for the kids to see the sheep right outside, play in the Wendy house which has bats/balls for the garden Hide

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We had flowers , milk in the fridge and a tray made up with tea and freshly made cake. One of the best holiday cottages in respect of accommodation and area. Lovely walks straight from the house. No car sounds, only the sound of birds. Two good local pubs nearby. Lovely, caring hosts.

A wonderful Christmas stay. The property was spotless & very tastefully decorated to a high standard. Very well equipped too. We had a lit Christmas tree & homemade mince pies on our arrival, a lovely festive gesture. The owners, Robert and Naomi made us feel very welcome and were on hand if needed, but still gave us our privacy. We visited Chew VaRead morelley Animal Park, walked around Chew Valley Lake and went to Chew Magna and found public footpaths through fields for a lengthy rural walk. Hide
