Set within the apple orchards of this thriving fruit farm you will find it hard to leave, there is plenty to explore by foot where you are able to access the waymarked footpaths, or you may wish to take a guided tour of the farm arranged with the estate. Set close to the Welsh borders and within easy reach of the Black Mountains, Elan Valley and Shropshire Hills all picturesque whatever the time of year and great for walking and cycling. There are many National Trust properties, including The Weir Gardens, Croft Castle and Berrington Hall to name a few. A variety of festivals run throughout the year such as The Three Choirs, Ludlow Food Festival and the famous Hay-on-Wye book festival.

This traditional cottage is located in a beautiful orchard setting, with extraordinary panoramic views from the Welsh Black Mountains to the South Shropshire Hills. Step into the hallway where you can leave your muddy boots behind, there is access to a ground floor separate WC and further access to the farmhouse style kitchen that is well-equipped and perfect for the best of chefs, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The interior is typical of its rural surroundings and is filled with rustic antique furniture, making it a real home from home. The large open-plan lounge/diner with cosy sofa’s, open fire, TV/DVD and wooden table and chairs which look onto the onto a south-facing terrace with stunning views. And when the day is done climb the stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms, one double and one twin bedroom. Completing the property is the bathroom with bath and WC.

Step out onto the south-facing terrace, the views are stunning and perfect for a summer evening unwinding in the hot tub or enjoying an evening meal at the wooden table and chairs and BBQ. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Absolutely amazing long weekend break! From booking to being sad to leave! The place is at an amazing location that really gives you the feeling you are away from civilisation! But with out being far away at all! All facilities are great, hot tub and bbq provide entertainment, and such a recharge! Dog friendly and family friendly, would!SELECTED! !Read moreENDOFSELECTED!stay again! The team were so nice too,making it even more pleasurable. Excellent rural location, well equipped with all you should need. Fabulous views. Makes a great base for walking or travelling to the local towns. The lane is quite narrow so care is needed especially in the wet weather. Overall, a great little getaway!
