Surrounded by fields in a beautiful rural location but with easy access into nearby towns, this property offers the perfect Yorkshire getaway. Explore nearby Almscliffe Crag, visit RHS Harlow Carr Gardens or venture into Harrogate for a visit to Betty's famous Tearooms or treat yourself to a spa treatment at the Turkish Baths. Families can enjoy days out at Fountains Abbey, Valley Gardens or spend a day shopping in nearby Leeds. For those attending conferences and exhibitions in Harrogate this property provides a welcome escape at the end of a busy day.

On arrival at this cosy cottage, guests will pass through a large hallway, before entering  the spacious living area comprising an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, perfect for socialising with family and friends. The lounge offers a comfortable space with flame-effect electric fire and plenty of seating for everyone to stretch. Doors open onto the patio with wonderful uninterrupted views across the surrounding countryside. There is a TV/DVD and an iPod dock and a range of fun games which will please younger guests as well as competitive adults. The dining table comfortably seats six and the kitchen area is well-equipped featuring an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The property has been designed with increased mobility in mind and not only are their wider doorways, but there is also a ground-floor bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom is a generously-sized king-size room and the bathroom offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms. The first of these is a super king-size room which can be made up as a twin room on request, (with additional pull out single bed,available on  request) whilst the third bedroom is a useful twin. The shower room on this floor, meanwhile has a walk-in shower and WC.

Patio doors from the lounge area lead out onto a raised patio terrace which has garden furniture provided and affords panoramic views across the farm and the valley beyond. Steps lead from the patio onto the lawn which is ideal for children to run and play whilst the adults enjoy alfresco drinks. The owner is happy to arrange a tour of the farm to see the donkey and the goats. There is bike storage available and off-road parking for 3 cars.

The cottage is very nice and with a wonderful view over the countryside. It is on site of a working dairy farm so don't be surprised to hear and see cows and farm activity which is great and part of the experience - dairy farmers work long and hard so you may hear some activity early morning etc if you are a light sleeper. We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Wharfe View cottage, watching the cows walking to the fields after milking. It was magical, my only complaint is that it wasn't long enough.

A beautiful setting with excellent views and great walks nearby. An excellent location for exploring Harrogate, Ilkley and the Dales. Very well equipped and plenty of space for 3 generations :4 adults, 2 children and a large dog. The donkeys and Poppy were an added attraction. Lovely cottage with great views and a great location. Older grandchild loved the 'moos', 'baas' and donkeys! Becky, the owner, very helpful. Worked well with a family of 6 adults, 2 children under 2 and a dog! Happy holidays everyone!

A clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage with the most beautiful scenery and views. We enjoyed a very relaxing week at Wharfe View Cottage- our children loved being on the farm and were very excited to be given a tour of the farm and meet the animals. Wharfe View cottage is a very special place in every respect. The cosy cottage is beautifully built and well equipped, with wonderful views all around and good walks from the door step. We watched hares, pheasants, swallows and red kites from the patio and, of course, it was good to watch the comings and goings of the farm animals close by. Very comfortable, relaxing and bright, with fabulous views. Good separation of accommodation for family (upstairs) and grandparents (downstairs). The addition of new fencing on the terrace makes it safe for children and gave our dog some freedom outside. Being a working dairy farm, it is necessary to keep dogs on a lead, even in the grass area to tRead morehe rear. One of the best places I've ever stayed. Great location very close to Harrogate, Leeds and the Dales, yet still quiet and peaceful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We could do several walks directly from the cottage without driving anywhere and the view from the cottage was fantastic.

Weve just enjoyed 14 nights whilst we had renovation works undertaken on our home. My wife, 2 year old and I have absolutely loved our stay. The views are simply stunning, the cottage is homely and warm and the host is extremely welcoming in fact the entire family were brilliant with my 2 year old. Would highly recommend. We stayed for four nights: wanted somewhere quiet to escape the fireworks at home on Bonfire Night. Its a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. The views are magnificent! We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to return. Ideal location for exploring North and West Yorkshire. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay, had a wonderful holiday. Views to die for from the cottage, very quiet and peaceful. Very convenient for trips to Harrogate and surrounding area. Lots of lovely walks. Would highly recommend as a place to stay and very much looking forward to a return trip.

We had a lovely week at Wharfe View, with stunning views of the countryside along with the trains going across the viaduct. This was complimented most days by spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The cottage was clean and spacious and had all of the things you need for your stay (corkscrew and bottle opener). Useful to have a bedroom and bathroom on tRead morehe ground floor. Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts, we watched the cows being milked and the met the lovely calves. Highly recommend. Hide

The cottage was so comfortable and very clean. We loved seeing all the animals on the farm, especially the daily view of the cows going to and from the fields. The location was perfect. The whole family enjoyed our stay here.

Wharfe view cottage was very clean and was ideal for 6 people. It was in a very pleasant and quiet position. The owners lived next door and were very pleasant, they took the grandchildren on tour round farm which they enjoyed. Would recommend it.

A very beautiful and relaxing place and we hope to return. A comfortable and well-appointed cottage on a farm, with a stunning view. A superb property, exceptional views, just simply amazing. There was all the kitchen equipment we could have needed, clean, spacious property. An ideal place to relax or explore as you wish. Could not recommend enough.
