Located on a working farm near the pretty village of Reynoldston in the heart of Gower Peninsula, close to the Cefn Bryn ridge. A short drive to shops and plenty of super local pubs. Gower, the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, attracts surfers, walkers and cyclists alike, and you are very well placed at this cosy cottage to enjoy all activities. In this central Gower location, you are never usually more than 3 miles from the coast, so a day at one of the renowned sandy beaches of Oxwich, Rhossili or Port Eynon is a must. Mumbles also has a good range of independent shops and eateries. (Please check admittance for the various attractions).

Entering this charming semi-detached cottage into a useful boot room with a WC and into a well-equipped kitchen/diner which has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.  The dining table comfortably seats four. Through into the characterful lounge with two large sofas, an impressive grandfather clock and a warming wood burner where you can cuddle up on the sofa and watch the Smart TV. The beamed ceiling gives this room a cosy and welcoming ambience any time of the year and there are French doors to the rear garden. Up the stairs to the first floor where there are two bedrooms – the first is a good-sized double with the second being a twin bedroom with pleasant rural views. Across the landing to the bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed garden with a lawn and patio with outdoor rattan furniture, mature trees, and views across the beautiful Rhossili Downs. Off road parking alongside the cottage for two cars.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

The cottage was really lovely. It was spotlessly clean. Often Cottages towards the end of the holiday season look tired and need a thorough clean. However, the cottage looked as though we were the first visitors of the season. It could not be faulted. The owner was lovely too.

The cottage is very comfortable, the owners have really thought of everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen is very well equipped even down to an air fryer, a first for us! The cottage is situated in a very peaceful spot with lovely views all around and as it is in the middle of south Gower everywhere is easily accessible. Pretty comfortable cottage on a working farm with stunning views. Very well equipt, comfy beds, lovely big shower, enclosed safe garden with lots of seating, there is nothing missing in this cottage. Jackie is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. Great log burner! Would definitely recommend and love to revisit.

Such a lovely quiet spot to enjoy a week away from the rat race! Cottage was perfect. Jacky was on hand if we needed anything, but not at all intrusive. She left us little gifts of fresh veggies a few times during the week, such a nice touch and very gratefully recieved along with a few recommendations for places to visit. A beautiful cottage with a lovely owner. Lots of places to sit and relax in the garden. An extremely comfortable bed and settees. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The shower head support was cracked and when we reported it, a new one arrived next day. We commented we liked to steam our veggies and the next day a steamer was delivered! We enjoyed a restful break and particularly loved sitting having a coffee in the garden looking at the lovely countryside. We could fully relax as the garden was securely fenced for our dog to run around and enjoy himself. Wonderful location for exploring the Gower peninsula

The cottage is lovely, warm and cosy. Its location makes it an easy drive from the various beaches on the peninsula. Jacky is a lovely host whos really helpful and approachable. The garden and patio area would have been lovely to use has the weather been a little warmer.

The cottage is wonderfully positioned with a beautiful view from the back garden. It is peaceful with birdsong and farm animals for company. The beaches are superb with Rhossilli and Llanmadoc about 15mins away. Despite the weather trying its hardest to ruin our holiday we had a lovely time. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming after being out in the wind and rain. The cottage was clean and welcoming - very well equipped. There is lovely outside seating area on the patio. In addition there is a picnic table on the lawn and a delightful rustic seat beneath a willow tree in the extensive garden area. A very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Everything that you need for an enjoyable stay is provided. Nice touches were tea/coffee/sugar/milk and welsh cakes provided! And a bag of spuds.
