Of course, the Isle of Wight is known for its many lovely beaches, and the compact size of the island means that all of the island’s best seaside towns and villages, including those at Ventor, Shanklin, Ryde, and Colwell Bay, can all be reached within a forty-minute drive, with some much closer. If you prefer to head off on foot or on two wheels you will find lovely routes available straight from the front door.
