A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at this 16th century Manor Farm, peacefully located 9 miles from the popular coastal seaside resort of Bude. Perfectly positioned within a beautiful part of Cornwall you will be close to the spectacular North Cornish coast and moors that provide an abundance of all perennial activities from surfing, cycling, walking and golf to name but a few. Other facilities are offered in advance and with an additional charge - home cooked meals provided by a local chef direct to your cottage. Supermarket shopping could also deliver to your cottage door. If you can tear yourselves away for a while you will find plenty to see and do with many well-known attractions, including The Eden Project, Newquay Zoo, Padstow, Polzeath, Launceston Steam Railway, The Milky Way and more. Bude, just 20 minutes away includes sandy beaches perfect for surfing, shops, pubs, restaurants, Splashpool and historical canal.
The cottage has been converted from a former milk parlour, now thoughtfully furnished and equipped for a great holiday break. However, it still retains some charming original features, including exposed beams and Cornish stonework. Entering the property via some barn-style doors, guests will see that this characterful, two-storey accommodation’s design embraces open-plan living. The lounge/diner comes complete with a wood burner set in a hearth made of granite, a smart TV and video. The oak fitted kitchen offers an oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, microwave and use of a tumble dryer. Also on the ground floor, the bathroom is equipped with a bath, a walk-in shower and WC. The first of the bedrooms is found on the ground floor, and contains a comfortable king-size bed. On the first floor are the other bedrooms, the first of which is spacious with a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The other bedroom comes with twin beds. For some extra relaxation, beauty treatments including reflexology and massage can be arranged. The owners also offer a babysitting service.
Outside the property is a large enclosed patio with seating and a BBQ to enjoy some al fresco dining with the family. There is an activity to appeal to everyone with plenty of space for recreation; safe enclosed, shared gardens, beautiful lawns and colourful shrubs, patios with garden furniture, swings and sandpits. Both children and adults will be kept amused for hours feeding the friendly pigs and calves, collecting the eggs and during lambing season, bottle feeding the tame lambs (from Easter-June). Guests are also invited to take pony rides, be entertained by the alpacas or enjoy a lovely walk along the farm trail to the well-stocked coarse fishing lake, full-size tennis court and large indoor play/games area , which presents fun for all ages, with football, basketball net, badminton, table tennis and toddler-friendly toys all at no extra cost.
