The Hayloft sits in a stunning rural location on a working farm in Taddington. With popular Buxton just four miles away, guests can enjoy the market town’s many attractions, events and shopping facilities. Walkers will never tire of the many routes available on this property’s doorstep, which explore the heart of the Peak District National Park.

Inside, the property has been designed with an upside-down layout to make the most of the beautiful views from the reception rooms. On the ground floor, therefore, are the two bedrooms – one with a double bed, the other with two singles. Both rooms, which share a family bathroom, enjoy plenty of rustic charm from the wooden floorboards, exposed beams and traditional windows.

Upstairs, you will find the spacious open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. This beautifully spacious room is where you will spend most of your time as it boasts wooden floorboards, exposed beams, ceiling trusses and brickwork. The kitchen area has been recently fitted with timber appliances, colourful splash back tiles and everything you should need throughout your stay. There is a good-sized dining table and spacious lounge area beyond with stylish sofas.

On sunny days, guests can enjoy sitting outside at the front of the property where a traditional dry stone wall borders a patio area.

An excellent short stay with our dogs! The location was absolutely perfect to meet up with family coming from Manchester, close to the city but in the heart of the Peak District. Had everything we needed there including excellent internet to catch up on a few work emails. We walked in to Buxton and back over the course of a day, approx 12.5 miles aRead morend enjoyed every second, a mixture of scenery including some wonderful dales to challenge you a little. Would certainly recommend! Hide

Another excellent stay at this beautiful property, made extra special by the glorious weather. It is in easy reach of so many places to visit (including National Trust properties). The bedrooms being on the ground floor were lovely and cool.

Great situation for local towns, walks and attractions, excellent holiday let and friendly owners, we followed the post code not the instructions (we came a different way) but the entrance is opposite the lay-by on the A6 not along the coalpit lane which comes under the same postcode

We had a wonderful family holiday in the Hayloft. The location of the farm is great, it's close to so many of the area's key attractions. Immediately on the doorstep were some fabulous walks too. The cottage was very comfortable, spacious and clean. We would definitely consider staying there again and highly recommend it.
