The largest of four tastefully converted holiday cottages, set amongst the magnificent grounds of a 23 acre country house estate and it's lavender fields, Pheasant's Walk is the perfect choice for a family holiday in the South West located within a short drive of spectacular beaches and coves, coastal towns and villages. In this rural location the night skies are abundant with stars to see on a clear night, perfect for stargazers.
The immediate area is steeped in maritime and smuggling history and is renowned for having one of the best climates in England. Head towards the coast with the nearest beach being beautiful Poldhu Cove with it's lovely café, just a mile away. Visit traditional Cornish villages such as Mullion, Porthleven and Coverack, all within a short drive. You can also join the South West Coast path direct from here as it goes around the property and up the driveway! Attractions in the area include The Minack Theatre, National Seal Sanctuary, Flambards Theme Park, and the Tate Gallery at St Ives, to name just a few.
The accommodation is arranged over two split-level floors. The lounge comes with Smart TV with Netflix, Ruark Audio with DAB radio, Bluetooth and French doors to outside. A couple of steps lead you down in to the large kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and door to outside. On the first floor are three comfortable bedrooms with beams and vaulted ceilings. There is one double bedroom, one triple room containing three single beds, and one single. There are also two bathrooms, one being a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC and the other, next door to this, is a shower rom and WC.
Outside at the front of the property is the shared courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ. Onsite leisure facilities include a shared heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May to the end of September, weather permitting), changing room and WC. Guests can meet the resident horse and sheep as well the curious chickens, with children being able to help feed the animals if they wish. There are also swings and a slide in the grassed play area to keep little ones amused. The 23 acres of farmland has picnic areas, walks and access to public footpaths where there is an array of wildlife to discover.
