Situated on a picturesque family farm in the tranquil North Cornwall countryside, this converted cottage is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife, including the hide on the riverbank and offers direct access to scenic walks right from the property. For those seeking a more adventurous outdoor experience, Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley, and Dartmoor National Park are all within 20 miles, providing opportunities to immerse yourself in nature and hear the satisfying crackle of twigs beneath your feet. If you're longing for sun-soaked beaches, the charming seaside town of Bude (16 miles) is certainly worth a day trip, boasting three stunning beaches, a sea pool, local shops, and excellent dining options. Don't miss the chance to explore the renowned South West coastal path, accessible from Bude. Additionally, within a 40-mile radius, you will find attractions such as the iconic domes at the Eden Project, and several National Trust properties.

 Stepping into this lovingly converted barn you will be greeted by the inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the ground floor. This spacious area combines comfort with a touch of rustic charm, thanks to the exposed beams adorning the ceilings. Relax in the lounge area, where a log burner adds warmth and a relaxing ambiance, whilst you can also enjoy your favourite shows or movies on the Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen provides all the amenities you need to prepare meals during your stay, whilst you'll also find the dining table in the open plan space, which has plenty of seating for all guests. As you make your way up to the upper floor, you will find the two inviting bedrooms. The first bedroom features a comfortable double bed, whilst the second bedroom has a triple offering with a bunk bed and an additional single bed, making it ideal for families or friends to stay. Both bedrooms continue the rustic charm with exposed beams overhead. Finally, on the upper floor, you'll discover the family bathroom where you can freshen up and relax.

Directly outside the living area guests will find the patio terrace, which provides comfortable dining seating, ideal for those al-fresco breakfasts. The site also hosts some incredible shared facilities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool (available between May and September), a play area with swings and slide on the sand pit, a shared outdoor seating area with a fire pit and of course a spacious shared games room with pool, ping pong and table football. All coming together to create a truly fantastic family holiday.

Waterloo farm is way out of the way; in a good way. It's so quiet at night (I'm a townie, so ymmv). The location is secluded and peaceful. The heated swimming pool is lovely, clean, situated with a countryside vista and sun all afternoon. The cottage itself was clean, tidy and in working order with good wifi, a modern tv and a dishwasher. the beds Read morewere comfy and clean. On site there is a pay-for washing machine and tumble dryer. I don't have anything bad to say! We enjoyed our stay immensely. Hide

Really lovely stay. Very welcoming. Nice location and I think lots to do on location - my children loved the sandpit, swing and the games room
