Head towards the north coast and you will discover the coastline is populated with must see destinations including ever popular Padstow, a must for all seafood lovers and home of Rick Stein’s famed restaurant and the picture postcard Port Isaac. There are also some fabulous expansive beaches on offer at Bude and Crackington Haven. The unspoilt south coast of Cornwall is also accessible from here and boasts an array of scenic coves and picturesque fishing villages to enjoy, such as Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro. Other attractions and places of interest include Dartmoor National Park, Bodmin Moor, The Eden Project, Tamar Otter Park and Wildwood, the Camel Trail, and Launceston Steam Railway.
This beautiful cottage has been converted from a former-barn and is now a stylish and comfortable holiday home which retains some stunning original features, including exposed beams and the original granite pillars which can be seen in the property’s open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here, guests will find the Smart TV and DVD, as well as a wood burner located in the original fireplace. The kitchen area has everything you will need to prepare your favourite meals including a cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge/freezer and use of tumble dryer. The bathroom with corner bath, separate shower and WC is located on the ground floor, as is the master bedroom which is a king-size. Upstairs there are two twin rooms, under the eaves’ sloping ceilings.
Outside guests may use the facilities available around the farm, which include large, enclosed gardens, lawns, children’s play area with sandpits and swings, patios with garden furniture, a full-size tennis court, a farm trail, and a coarse fishing lake. Guests can also visit the animals, feed the pigs and sheep, ride the pony, collect eggs and even bottle feed the lambs during the spring lambing season. There is an indoor games barn with football, basketball net, badminton, table tennis, and toddler toys. Other facilities are offered in advance and with an additional charge - home cooked meals provided by a local chef direct to your cottage. Beauty treatments including reflexology and massages are available. Supermarket shopping can also be delivered. 1 dog welcome between 1st September through until 26th May excluding peak Easter period. Additionally, guests with a dog will be subject to a £150 refundable security deposit payable on arrival.
