With Exmoor National Park just a stone’s throw from the property, guests have a copportunity to make the most of the endless scenic walks across the countryside and hidden beauty spots with ease. This cosy and quirky cottage is a short drive from the pretty village of Chulmleigh, where you can wander its steep, winding streets and browse the local cafes, shops and galleries. Nearby are also a wide range of National Trust gardens and properties which are great to explore on a rainy day, as are RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way.

Guests are also encouraged to explore the many pathways which traverse this 80 acres of working HLS farmland (Higher Level Environmental Scheme) and to look out for a diverse range of flora and fauna that thrive on the land.
