Lovely cottage, ideal for StAustell and the dog friendly beach at Par. Short drive to Lanhydrock National Trust which was also beautiful and dog friendly. Cottage had a bigger enclosed garden than we expected so plenty of room of room for Louie to spend a penny.

Remote & entrance & parking awkward. Unable to walk to lake, overgrown & slippery bridge + owners dog do not like other dogs. Told to us by, we assume Mrs Turner, on the one occasion we saw someone. No recycling info in welcome pack. Property needs a repaint & deep clean, inside & out. Spiders & cobwebs in cupboard & ceilings. Behind radiators dustRead more & grime. Fab reviews in book left, but pages missing ? We left early, not as expected. Garden pretty & enclosed. This could be a beautiful place Hide

Spotlessly clean, comfortable and so lovely and peaceful. Lower Roselath Retreat is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the wildlife around you. Beautiful garden which, if you have a dog, is perfect for them. A country pub within walking distance for a quiet drink. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was lovely and felt very secluded with great enclosed fully secure garden for the dog . The interior was very comfortable and had everything we needed ,although we found the sofa a little low for us . Great location for us to to visit South Cornwall though I wouldn't always follow your SatNav!! Would happily stay here again

Absolutely loved it here! Our hosts were wonderful, so friendly. The cottage was one of the most comfortable we have ever stayed in and it was great to have a decent shower. The garden was so much bigger than we expected and completely dog safe (unless your dog is a jumper), our youngster loved hunting for Cornish meeces in the undergrowth. The CroRead morewn Inn was a 15 minute walk down an enclosed footpath. Great food and very dog friendly. We will definitely return! Hide

We had a fabulous week at the Retreat. There is lots to do nearby but the weather was so wonderful we spent most of it exploring the coast walks and relaxing in the garden. Having an enclosed space and a bbq was great for both us and our dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean and wonderfully peaceful and quiet. The lovely Crown Inn is just a short wRead morealk away and there are also a couple of farm shops in the village. Hide
